Installation and licensing

  1. Run AnnotationToolSetup.exe and follow the wizard. No administrator rights are needed; it installs for the current user.
  2. Buy Model Bench in the ctrlX Store and upload the licence file in ctrlX WORKS ▸ Settings ▸ Licenses.
  3. Start InSiSo Model Bench. It finds the licence, takes one seat, and returns it when the app closes.
  4. Create the first account; it becomes the administrator. Further users sign up from the login screen.

Without a valid licence, the Licence dialog opens at startup and says what to do. Help ▸ Licence… shows edition, expiry and source at any time.

First launch on Windows

The installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen warns on first launch. Choose More info ▸ Run anyway.
