Does Visual Detector need a cloud connection?

No. Inference runs on the ctrlX device and results stay in your network.

Which cameras work?

GenICam / GigE Vision industrial cameras and USB / UVC cameras, up to 4 per device.

How does the PLC read results?

Can it give pick positions to a robot?

Yes, with the Machine Coordinate Transformation AddOn.
